Yo yo yo! I had my first day of work yesterday and it was awesome / boring. All that crazy logistical stuff, like benefits, travel, expenses, and most important of all: I got my laptop and blackberry!! I'm fully hooked in and online now, so I guess that makes me a grade A badass consultant. Any of you have problems you need fixed?
I got a blackberry curve and a IBM Lenovo T61 widescreen, so I'm rocking in style. I also just got my TV, but I still don't have any real furniture in my place except for a folding chair and a folding snack table. It's pretty bare bones, but the TV is keeping me company. It took me a while, but I finally got my xbox 360 streaming HD shows from my computer over my ridiculously fast wireless FiOS connection, so I'm bathing in media.
Next week is training, so I'm in for a bit more "boring" stuff until I finally get started, but at least I'm getting there. I'm about ready to starting gtd'ing for real again, the summer was long and relaxing but I miss feeling productive. Is that weird?
